We had a great weekend celebrating Tyler's life. We had a small party for him on Saturday and even though Tyler was a little cranky, it turned out pretty great. My parents, my sister and my two cousins came from out of town. We just talked, watched old Tyler videos, ate, and watched Tyler open gifts and eat cake. Matt blew out the candle on the cake just in time because Tyler was reaching for the flame. I think he might be the first baby in history to reject his cake. He was poking the chocolate polka dots and crying. Nana and Papa got to witness the whole thing through Skype!

Other fun things we did on Tyler's birthday weekend:
Played with ballonons:

Used the new swing from grandma and grandpa:

Picked out a Christmas tree (It had to be a small, table-top tree due to Tyler's destructive nature):

Went to see Santa Claus:

Played at Brookestone until grandma and grandpa bought him a present:

Decorated for Christmas:

We also went to the park one day (I forgot my camera at home) and Tyler went on the swings and went down the slide. He loved it! He giggled the whole way down the slide. It was the sweetest.
Tyler developed his first cold over the weekend and passed it on to me, Matt, Joy and my Dad. He's had trouble breathing, he's had a runny nose and he's been fussy. Because of all this, he's had some trouble falling asleep.
Since Tyler is one year old, he needs to transition from formula to milk. We have been working on that for the past few days. We are mixing milk and formula together and adding more milk (and less formula) at each feeding. After we master this, we need to switch him from the bottle to the sippy cup.
Other than Tyler getting sick, it was a great weekend!

Happy Birthday, Tyler!
